Michael H. Borash, LPC, P.C. and Associates

Mike Firmin is a Virginia Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of clinical experience in providing individual, group, family and relationship therapy. He holds a baccalaureate degree from St. Anselam College in Manchester, New Hampshire and a graduate degree in clinical social work from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. In addition, Mike spent 20 years with the Community Mental Health Center in Alexandria,Virginia as a Clinician and Administrator.

In May of 1972, Mike opened his part-time private practice and in May of 1988 his practice began operating on a full-time basis. Mike completed his Imago Relationship training in 1997. Additionally, Mike’s focus is with issues of substance abuse and drug dependency.
